Autonomous Mobility Training Robot – J-Walker TechTech

J-Walker TechTech is an autonomous mobility training robot designed to improve walking abilities and extend healthy lifespans. It offers three modes: “Arm Swing Training,” “Load Training,” and “Assisted Walking,” allowing users to choose the most suitable training based on their independence level and daily physical condition. ARRK assisted with the design, engineering, and prototyping of this innovative healthcare robot.

Project Scope

To realize the concept of arm swing training, a novel initiative by the customer, the development of TechTech commenced. Recognizing the health benefits of arm swinging exercises, this product was designed to promote and emphasize this activity. Together with the customer, we advanced the development to bring their concept to life.

Our customer is a leading manufacturer of automotive components, and given the importance of safety and strength in healthcare products, we began the design process by conducting material evaluation tests based on your insights. We carried out thorough evaluations and analyses to ensure the product’s safety and durability.

Styling – Designing for Everyday Companionship

We aimed for a design that reflects the product’s role as a daily exercise companion – simple, warm, and inviting. The robot’s appearance was carefully crafted to befit its function in the healthcare and training field.
