J-PAS LUMBUS, the power assist suit by JTEKT, is designed to alleviate the strain on the lower back in various work environments. It combines JTEKT’s expertise in electric power steering with adaptable mechanisms that harmonize with human movements, making it suitable for a wide range of tasks.<\/p>\n

We provided comprehensive support, from redesigning existing products to design, prototyping, and mass production.<\/p>\n

Weight Reduction at the Component Level:<\/b>
\n We worked collaboratively with our customer to identify opportunities for further weight reduction in order to make the suit more user-friendly. Through analysis and discussions, we successfully reinforced its strength while achieving a lighter design.<\/p>\n

Customer’s Unique Wire Assist Mechanism:<\/b>
\n Introducing a unique mechanism that was new to us, we engaged in iterative trial and error, sharing ideas with the customer, and ultimately bringing it to fruition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>
